They are seeking an Educational Developmental Assistant to support instructional activities for court-involved youth, assisting with lesson planning and delivering individualized instruction.

Responsibilities

Supporting instructional activities in core subject areas under the guidance of licensed teachers
Assisting with lesson planning
Preparing instructional materials
Delivering individualized or small group instruction to students
Monitoring student academic and behavior progress
Maintaining data records
Providing written or verbal feedback
Coordinating classroom activities
Using educational technology
Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive educational support for the students

Required

High school or General Educational Development (GED) diploma
one year of experience working with students in an educational environment
Experience working with students, including understanding their unique educational needs and/or providing appropriate instructional support
Experience with classroom management techniques
Experience documenting student progress and working with multidisciplinary teams
Experience using classroom equipment and/or computer-based learning tools commonly used in educational settings
