The Director of Brand & Growth will own brand visibility, content, SEO, and PR execution, creating and executing a unique content strategy while managing external partners and ensuring brand consistency.

Responsibilities

Create and execute a unique content strategy across social, website, and media
Personally write copy for web, social, ads, PR, and campaigns
Turn real business activity into documented, reusable content
Direct and capture on-site content at Golf Envy locations, events, and trainings
Maintain brand voice, tone, and consistency across all channels
Plan, organize, and direct content production to ensure consistency and reliability, whether produced internally or by freelancers
Proactively pitch Golf Envy to media outlets, podcasts, and industry publications
Secure earned media placements and ongoing coverage
Build and maintain press materials and brand narratives
Run PR campaigns instead of talking about PR
Own on-page and content-driven SEO strategy
Improve website structure, content, and local SEO frameworks
Create SEO-driven content that supports both franchise sales and club-level demand
Track performance and iterate based on results
Oversee and contribute to website content and updates
Coordinate paid ads with external partners
Own organic social on Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube
Build local store marketing frameworks
Email and SMS will be added once foundations are strong
Direct and hold external partners accountable across paid media, website development, content creation, and branded gear
Set clear briefs, timelines, and expectations
Ensure work is on-brand, on-time, and aligned with business goals
Step in to fill gaps when partners fall short
Create templates, playbooks, and examples for franchisees
Provide clear guardrails for brand and marketing execution
Support franchisees without becoming a day-to-day support desk

Required

Strong individual contributor who likes building from scratch
Ability to write clearly and confidently without heavy approval cycles
Experience in personally executing content, SEO, and PR
Comfortable being on-site and directing or capturing content
Preference for shipping work over talking about it
Organized, self-directed, and comfortable owning results
Ability to create and execute a unique content strategy across social, website, and media
Ability to write copy for web, social, ads, PR, and campaigns
Ability to maintain brand voice, tone, and consistency across all channels
Ability to own on-page and content-driven SEO strategy
Ability to improve website structure, content, and local SEO frameworks
Ability to oversee and contribute to website content and updates
