Responsibilities

Participates in the implementation and maintenance of the underlying technology, software and hardware components that ensure the smooth functioning of switches, routers, firewalls, network systems, monitoring systems, crypto and security systems, enabling seamless secure data processing and systems reliability
Troubleshoot issues, perform regular maintenance
Collaborate with other cross-functional ICT teams to address technical issues promptly, integrate emerging technologies, supporting the organization's digital transformation goals and ensuring efficient, resilient, scalable, and secure digital infrastructure
Establishes, monitors and conducts On-The-Job Training (OJT) to ensure all personnel are proficient in their duties
Ensures compliance with cryptographic security standards
Supervises the maintenance and installation of on-line Crypto equipment
Provides collaboration and assistance to other work sections within Service Operations Branch in support of mission requirements
Supports physical task requirements with the ability to lift up to 25 lbs

Required

Higher vocational training in a relevant discipline with 3 years post-related experience. Or a secondary educational qualification with 5 years post-related experience
At least 3 years' experience in the implementing, and managing the underlying technology, software and hardware WAN/LAN components that ensure the smooth functioning of switches, routers, firewalls, network systems, monitoring systems, crypto and security systems
Practical experience troubleshooting infrastructure related issues, perform regular maintenance
Adequate communication and interpersonal skills
Good analytical skills and solution-oriented attitude
Fluency in English, both written and spoken

Preferred

Proficiency in network authentication systems (e.g., 802.1x, ISE, RADIUS, TACACS+) and Cisco Prime deployment
Hands-on knowledge in managing VoIP infrastructure (e.g., CUCM) and related telecommunications systems (e.g., TDM, MPLS, SDN)
Familiarity with network monitoring tools (e.g., Spectrum, Splunk) and cryptographic equipment
Understanding of IPv6, datacenter technologies, virtualized switching, and ITIL/ITU-T-based Service Management principles
Experience overseeing technical teams and working in international, military/civilian environments, with knowledge of NATO roles and structure
Minimum qualification of an associate level Networking Professional certification (e.g. CCNA)
ITIL Foundation certificate
