Responsibilities
Maintains expertise of the Firm’s billing systems and tools and provides monthly billing support to assigned billing lawyers
Oversees and monitors billing assignments of Billing Specialists and oversees the day-to-day billing operations to ensure compliance with billing and collection policies
Participates in the hiring, coaching, performance evaluation and staff discipline processes
Assists with new Billing Specialists orientation, on-boarding and integration
Assists with the application of Alternative Billing Arrangements and the annual review and approval of same and works with Client Service Lawyers to ensure timely billing and collections
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
Minimum five (5) years of experience in legal or professional services billing
Preferred
Minimum three (3) years of supervisory experience preferred
Aderant experience preferred
