Mid LevelThe Poet Speaks is currently seeking an experienced Sponsorship / Development Partner to help secure corporate sponsors and philanthropic support for Season 2 of their arts & culture series. The role involves identifying aligned sponsors, outreach, relationship development, and supporting pitch conversations.

Qualification
Required
Has existing relationships in sponsorship, philanthropy, media, arts, or cultural funding
Is comfortable with outbound outreach and relationship-building
Understands media projects, branded partnerships, or nonprofit-adjacent fundraising
Moves with urgency and communicates clearly
Entrepreneurial mindset — this is not a salaried role
Preferred
Immediate start preferred
Location: Washington, DC preferred (remote considered for candidates with active national networks)
Based in or connected to the Washington, DC funding ecosystem preferred
