Responsibilities
Diagnose and repair all Class 6, 7, and 8 heavy-duty diesel truck issues
Perform preventive maintenance (PM) services on tractors, and box trucks
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
Familiar with OEM software
Excellent troubleshooting skills
Experienced with internal engine repair, i.e. Injectors, Head gaskets, Crank seals
Experienced in quickly identifying wire/harness issues and repair
Accurately complete and review maintenance paperwork
Ensure all work is performed in compliance with DOT, OSHA, and company safety policies
Qualification
Required
Diagnose and repair all Class 6, 7, and 8 heavy-duty diesel truck issues
Perform preventive maintenance (PM) services on tractors, and box trucks
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
Familiar with OEM software
Excellent troubleshooting skills
Experienced with internal engine repair, i.e. Injectors, Head gaskets, Crank seals
Experienced in quickly identifying wire/harness issues and repair
Accurately complete and review maintenance paperwork
Ensure all work is performed in compliance with DOT, OSHA, and company safety policies
Minimum 5 years of truck repair experience
Must be able to work Mid-day shift 11am – 7:30pm
Skilled in diagnosing and repairing engines, transmissions, electrical systems, and ABS systems
Ability to troubleshoot and analyze component parts and systems on trucks and tractor
Comfortable working in all weather conditions and in a fast-paced environment
Ability to stand for long periods and lift 50 lbs. or more
Strong mechanical aptitude
Able to work under moderate supervision and follow through on task
Preferred
ASE certifications is a plus
CDL license is a plus
Experience working with Freightliner, Volvo, Mack, Kenworth, and Peterbilt trucks
