Responsibilities
Personally exhibits, recruits and coaches associates consistent with Core Behaviors
Responsible for promoting culture of safety
Sort tooling
Set up the machine
Prep and set up jobs to be run for each application
Grind tooling according to tool specs
Clean/inspect machinery and tools
Inspect jobs after final operation
Respond to commonly occurring problems/situations for which standards, procedures or precedents exist
Perform all tasks in accordance to ISO
Qualification
Required
Knowledge of material and tooling types
Knowledge of the machine and its capabilities, Tru-Tech, Cylindrical Grinding Machines, Manual Grinding Machines
Knowledge of what the tool is and how it is used
Ability to look for bad grinds or chips in the tool by using eye loops and magnifiers
Ability to read blue prints
Knowledge and ability to use micrometers, Vernier, radius gages
Understanding of what wheel to use for each job
Competent with applying math skills/tool geometry
High School diploma or equivalent required
Up to 2 years of experience in a similar position required
Preferred
CNC certificate preferred
