Responsibilities

Manage client relationships and serve as primary point of contact for accounting matters

Process payroll, sales tax filings, and business licenses and permits

Perform month-end close procedures and prepare financial statements

Conduct financial analysis and provide recommendations to clients

Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with applicable regulations

Collaborate with team members to meet client deadlines and deliverables

Required

Bachelor's degree in Accounting required

Minimum 2 years of experience in public accounting required

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), QuickBooks, and Sage 50

Experience in month-end close and financial statement preparation

Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities

Preferred

Experience with payroll processing, sales tax, licenses and permits preferred

CPA candidate or pursuing CPA licensure preferred

Italian language skills a plus
