Responsibilities
Develop and test engineering applications for ships and offshore structures
Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze requirements and create modular, maintainable software code
Ensure development and unit testing adhere to established standards
Participate in design and code reviews
Analyze and resolve technical and application issues, identifying opportunities for process or software improvements
Package and support deployment of software releases
Provide technical support for internal and external users
Qualification
Required
Proficiency in FORTRAN coding
Experience with .NET/C# (or equivalent) and Visual Studio 2019+
Knowledge of ship or offshore structural analysis and finite element methods
Bachelor's degree or higher in engineering, preferably in marine/offshore engineering, ocean engineering, naval architecture, mechanical, civil engineering, or a related field
Relevant professional experience in a classification society, shipyard, marine or offshore design/consulting office, CAD or engineering software company, software development firm, or research institution is a plus
