They are currently seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join their team on a temporary basis, playing a critical role in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of the company’s financial operations.

Responsibilities
Oversee recording of cash receipts from 8-10 different receipts platforms, ensuring accuracy
Record vendor and consultant invoices in a timely and accurate manner
Prepare and issue customer invoices across multiple departments using information from Salesforce and collaboration with Client Service Coordinators
Prepare and post monthly journal entries, complete bank and account reconciliations
Compile weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, and year-end financial reports for management review
Conduct balance sheet account analyses and reconciliations
Update and maintain the internal “Trend Chart” database, preparing reports for Controller and management review
Additional responsibilities, as needed
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in accounting (required) with solid understanding of GAAP and Revenue recognition
Minimum of 5 years of professional accounting experience
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks; familiarity with Salesforce.com or similar CRM systems preferred
Experience with month-end closing process
Experience with accruals, deferrals and prepaid expenses
Experience working with multiple payment platforms and integrations
Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills
Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Ability to identify discrepancies and proactively resolve issues
Train and mentor staff as needed
