Responsibilities
Design and implement Python or Node backend services
Build and maintain well-designed APIs (REST required; GraphQL a plus)
Build scalable data pipelines in AWS
Build front-end TypeScript + React applications using modern patterns
Deliver data-aware systems that handle real-world complexity
Partner with the Head of Engineering to set and evolve technical direction
Establish and uphold coding standards and engineering best practices
Review code and unblock other engineers as part of a shared team effort
Mentor engineers through pairing, design reviews, and practical feedback
Lead by example through high-quality, production-ready code
Qualification
Required
Senior Full-Stack Engineer who is open-source software (OSS) first, highly productive, and execution-driven
Ability to design and implement Python or Node backend services
Experience in building and maintaining well-designed APIs (REST required; GraphQL a plus)
Experience in building scalable data pipelines in AWS
Experience in building front-end TypeScript + React applications using modern patterns
Ability to deliver data-aware systems that handle real-world complexity
Ability to partner with the Head of Engineering to set and evolve technical direction
