Responsibilities
Under the guidance of their assignment manager, this intern role will work with various IT and business functions to:
Aid with documentation of current processes finance and/or time tracking-processes
Use analytical skills to help improve existing finance and/or time tracking-processes
Perform data clean-up tasks in McDermott’s as needed to accomplish project objectives
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
Shadow employees to learn complex or additional aspects of finance or time-tracking jobs in the industry
This position will work with various IT application teams and will learn finance and time tracking procedures
Qualification
Required
Must be currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in computer engineering technology, Computer Science, Data Science, or Computer Information Systems
Must have completed at least 2 years of college
In 3rd or 4th year of college studies
3.0 GPA or higher
Ability to work as a team member
Good communication skills, for both technical and non-technical audiences
Proficient in Microsoft tools: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio
Looking for candidates with a career in Information Technology with a focus on back office corporate functions such as finance, payroll and time tracking and reporting
