Mechanical Engineer - II
Echo Power is a Professional Engineering and Project Services company with a focus on integrity and customer service. They are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to develop engineering solutions for mechanical infrastructure system upgrades and replacements while ensuring high-quality project delivery from design through implementation.

Responsibilities
Manage and understand all project details, maintaining clear and consistent communication with internal and external stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle
Perform mechanical engineering design tasks and review work completed by others to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget
Ensure all safety, regulatory, and design requirements are met across assigned projects
Present project designs and documentation to Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJs) to support plan review and approval
Support field activities as needed to ensure constructability, quality, and successful project execution
Qualification
Required
Thorough knowledge of ASHRAE, MEP, and NFPA standards
Strong technical expertise in hydronic and refrigeration systems for comfort cooling, including HVAC, process cooling, boilers, heat exchangers, and related systems
Experience with AutoCAD, MicroStation, and/or other technical CAD platforms
Experience using modeling software for mechanical system design and analysis (required)
Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with customers and project stakeholders in a variety of settings
Demonstrated leadership abilities, strong work ethic, and accountability
Ability to travel up to 50% of the time
Ability to climb ladders and participate in field-related physical activities as required
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (MEE)
3–5 years of recent and relevant experience supporting HVAC mechanical design and mechanical system studies
Preferred
Mechanical Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
