Responsibilities
Experience with Secure Email Gateways
Proficiency in managing, configuring, and troubleshooting SEG platforms, specifically Proofpoint and Abnormal
Understanding of email protocols such as SMTP, IMAP, POP3 and email security technologies DKIM, SPF, DMARC and MX record management
Experience with encryption methods, email filtering, DLP (Data Loss Prevention), and anti-virus/anti-spam technologies
Proficiency in managing, configuring, and troubleshooting WAF platforms such as Cloudflare and F5 BIG-IP
Understanding of how WAFs protect against web application attacks like SQL injection, cross-site scripting (XSS), and cross-site request forgery (CSRF)
Proven understanding of IP Networking knowledge and strong understanding of networking concepts, including firewalls, VPNs, load balancers, TCP/IP packet flow and DNS
Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices, threat landscapes, and common email threats such as phishing, spoofing, and malware
Experience with Linux/Unix and Windows server environments, including scripting skills (e.g., Bash, PowerShell) for automation
Familiarity with log management and monitoring tools for analyzing email traffic and security events
Experience with audit processes and documentation related to email security
Participate in On-Call system administration support including but not limited to weekends, holidays and after-business hours as required to service the need of the business
Excellent skills creating in-house documentation and reports

Experienced in supporting cybersecurity in a medium to large IT organization
Able to work in a team-oriented and collaborative environment
Understanding of cloud computing technologies, business drivers, and emerging computing trends
Preferred
B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
