The successful candidate will perform technical calculations, prepare bridge plans and details, and assist senior engineers within a multi-disciplinary design team.

Perform technical calculations and contribute to reports
Prepare bridge plans, details, specifications, and cost estimates
Perform bridge load ratings
Perform bridge modelling
Assist senior engineers within large multi-disciplinary design team
Perform periodic on-site assessments

Qualification

Civil Engineering DegreeEIT LicenseBridge Load RatingsBridge ModellingMicrosoft OfficeMicroStation/OpenRoadsInternship/Co-op ExperienceStructural Software

Required

Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering required
EIT License or ability to obtain EIT License within 6 months required
Internship/co-op experience required

Preferred

Master's Degree with focus in Structures is a plus
Software proficiency – Microsoft Office, MicroStation/OpenRoads and/or AutoCAD experience preferred
Familiarity with structural software is a plus
