Responsibilities

Provide strategic and operational leadership for quality and safety across all production facilities
Lead, mentor, and develop site-level quality resources; ensure consistent standards, expectations, and execution
Serve as the senior escalation point for significant quality and safety issues impacting customers, compliance, or operations
Own and continuously improve the ISO 9001-certified Quality Management System and related safety processes
Ensure compliance with internal procedures, customer requirements, and applicable regulatory standards
Lead internal, customer, and third-party audits; ensure timely and effective corrective actions
Facilitate Management Review processes and ensure follow-through on actions and improvement initiatives
Partner with Operations and Engineering to ensure robust process controls, standard work, and effective risk management
Oversee root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action (CAPA) activities for quality defects and safety incidents
Support New Product Introductions (NPI) and Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) by ensuring quality and safety requirements are integrated and validated
Define, monitor, and report quality and safety KPIs, including defect rates, customer complaints, audit findings, and safety performance
Use data and trend analysis to identify systemic issues and prioritize improvement initiatives
Drive cross-functional continuous improvement efforts to reduce variation, scrap, rework, and operational risk
Collaborate with Manufacturing, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Maintenance to resolve quality issues and improve process capability
Closely support customer interactions related to quality performance, audits, and corrective actions as required
Ensure clear communication of quality expectations, standards, and changes across the organization

Required

Bachelor's degree in engineering, Industrial Technology, or a related technical field
8+ years of progressive quality and/or in a manufacturing or industrial environment
Strong working knowledge of ISO 9001, OSHA regulations, and quality systems
Demonstrated experience leading audits, managing CAPA, and influencing cross-functional teams
Proven ability to operate effectively in a multi-site manufacturing environment
Strong communication, analytical, and leadership skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with ERP and QMS systems
Ability to travel up to 10%

Preferred

Professional certifications such as Lean Six Sigma, ISO 9001 Lead Auditor, or equivalent
Experience in automation manufacturing, industrial equipment, or electronics assembly environments
Working knowledge of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies
