Summer 2026 Business Development Associate Internship

Responsibilities
Work side-by-side with GDIT professionals delivering work for clients and Internal Research and Development programs
Collaborate with a team of peers to research and propose solutions to a current business challenge
Participate in a mentoring circle led by an early career champion
Interact with GDIT leaders
Participate in professional development
Conduct market research, provide input to solutions development programs meant to enhance our overall Pwin for growth efforts, and assist with the completion of Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Requests for Information (RFI), questionnaires (general and due diligence), and various ad hoc requests
Familiarize yourself with the company's vision and mission, seeking to accomplish set goals and objectives
Provide solutions development efforts to design, built, and integrate solutions to specific challenges to address GDIT Cyber Pursuit Team needs
Review strategic plans and campaign plans, using Federal budget data and open-source intelligence to determine total addressable market (TAM) and adjust strategic focus
Perform business intelligence/competitive intelligence research using government websites and our Salesforce database
Collate and maintain customer information
Work with stakeholders to understand what insights are needed to support their business goals
Various duties that enhance the Business Development procedures of the company and increase productivity
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled in an associate's, bachelor's or master's degree program in Business Administration/Information Systems, Finance, Statistics, Economics or related discipline from a United States-based college or university
Support integrating cybersecurity solutions
Basic understanding of Microsoft Office products (e.g., Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Excel, and Teams)
Excellent time management skills and ability to flourish in a challenging, fast-paced, professional environment
Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure
Committed to quality and attention to detail; ensure that work is complete, accurate and on time
Strong communication skills and ability to interact professionally with all levels of internal and external personnel in both written and verbal communications

Preferred
Familiarity with the information technology and cyber industry
Understanding of system development and integration of cyber tools
Ability to bring data and analytics to enhance business development activities
Broad knowledge of project management and data analytics
