Plasma Equipment Engineer

Responsibilities
Maximize equipment availability, reliability, and performance across plasma-based wafer processing tools
Lead equipment improvements, preventive maintenance strategies, and complex troubleshooting efforts
Partner closely with process engineering, manufacturing, quality, and external equipment vendors
Qualification
Required
Expertise with wafer processing equipment or semiconductor manufacturing experience
Strong hands-on expertise with plasma-based tools (Etch, CVD, PVD, Furnace)
Maintenance and troubleshooting experience on tools such as Plasmatherm Etch, LAPECVD, PVD, Matrix Asher, Lam Rainbow, SPTS/KLA Sputter, Koyo Vertical Furnace, and/or Evatec BAK
Deep understanding of RF systems, vacuum theory, and gas delivery systems
Solid knowledge of vacuum systems (dry, turbo, cryo pumps; sensors; MFCs)
Proficiency with diagnostic and test equipment: Oscilloscopes, DMMs, RGAs, RF meters, HV probes, Helium leak detectors and residual gas analyzers
Effective written and verbal communication skills are absolutely required for this role
