Responsibilities
Coordinate and deliver IT and strategic initiatives for Capital Department and Police-driven projects
Plan, schedule, and track project milestones, actions, risks, issues, and dependencies
Prepare and maintain project documentation, status reports, dashboards, and meeting materials
Collaborate with internal teams, Police stakeholders, external partners, consultants, and vendors
Align IT/technology milestones with capital project delivery and operational requirements
Support multi-department IT and innovation programs, including major event readiness (e.g., FIFA World Cup 2026)
Develop and maintain IT scope documentation, solution descriptions, system inventories, and technical dependency mappings
Document functional and non-functional requirements, including security, data, and reporting needs
Coordinate the creation and maintenance of technical artifacts such as requirements traceability matrices, integration diagrams, and environment overviews
Support change control processes for IT scope, ensuring communication of cost, schedule, risk, and operational impacts
Elicit, document, and validate business and operational IT requirements with stakeholders
Translate business needs into structured IT requirements for planning and implementation
Support data governance, technology integration, and alignment with enterprise architecture, cybersecurity, and privacy frameworks
Coordinate testing, readiness, and operational handover activities for IT-enabled solutions
Provide additional coordination support to supplement internal resources and contractors
Ensure consistent communication, documentation control, version management, and audit-ready records
Report to Head of Innovation and work closely with Capital Department, Police, IT teams, and external partners
Qualification
Required
15+ years of relevant experience
Strong background in IT-enabled project coordination for capital programs or public-sector initiatives
Proven ability to document complex technical environments and system integrations
Effective at aligning business and IT requirements across multiple stakeholders
Analytical, organized, and experienced in multi-priority, complex environments
Experience with public safety, transportation, or government organizations
Knowledge of project management methodologies (PMBOK, Agile, hybrid)
Experience in digital transformation and innovation initiatives
