Responsibilities
Design, build, and maintain on-prem Apache Druid clusters
Monitor cluster health & performance; troubleshoot and resolve issues proactively
Optimize Druid queries, ingestion specs, and data pipelines in collaboration with analytics teams
Integrate Druid with systems such as Kafka, Spark, BigQuery , and other GCP components
Implement and maintain CI/CD and automated deployment pipelines for Druid
Perform Druid operations including configuration, installation, upgrades, and patching
Develop and maintain Linux shell scripts , automation tools, and monitoring dashboards
Manage observability tools: Prometheus, Grafana
Work with ancillary systems: GKE, MySQL, GitLab, Airflow
Qualification
Required
8+ years of IT experience
Strong, hands-on production support experience with Apache Druid
Apache Druid (Hands-on expertise required)
Google Cloud Platform (GCE, BigQuery, GKE)
Linux / Shell Scripting
Apache Airflow
GitLab
Ansible
Prometheus, Grafana
