Mid LevelEmbry-Riddle Aeronautical University is seeking a tenure-track Assistant Professor of International Relations and Security Studies. This fully remote position involves teaching and supporting degree programs in international relations and security studies, as well as contributing to the college's research portfolio.

Responsibilities
Support degree programs and courses in the International Relations and Security minors
Teach in the General Education program, specifically supporting statistics courses and quantitative courses in the department and across the college
Participate on departmental, college, and/or university committees
Qualification
Required
Ph.D. in International Relations, Security Studies, Political Science, or a closely related discipline
Demonstrated competency in quantitative research methods and statistics. The successful candidate must be able to teach undergraduate statistics courses (e.g., STAT 211, STAT 222) and apply quantitative analysis to security studies research
An active research agenda with the potential for publication in high-impact journals, specifically utilizing quantitative methodologies
Preferred
Demonstrated industry, military, or government experience related to national security or international affairs is desirable
Successful experience in teaching courses in international relations and security studies
