Dealer Service Center Manager

Responsibilities
Facilitate broader production-related communication at division-level, and business continuity across regional markets
Lead planning and development of expansion markets
Increase results-oriented accountability across credit and sales
Elevate expectations of success along with level of support to team members, and lead by example
Establish performance-based monthly milestones and relevant action-plan requirements
Establish recognition platform for weekly top performers across all functional teams
Promote scorecard visibility and competitiveness
Leverage knowledge, strategies and best practices from top performing team members in each job family to improve productivity across division/company
Collaborate with Sales and Credit Leader's to set origination volume, pricing and credit risk objectives, and creation/rollout of innovative incentive plans reinforcing business line priorities
Drive process-related sales and credit behaviors required to exceed financial objectives
Initiate and implement relationship focused growth strategies tailored to individual markets
Contribute to credit risk model enhancements by providing competitive data from field
Engage, energize and motivate team members through regular 1:1 interaction and career path planning
Identify and build bench strength
Hands-on prospecting and dealer sign-up in emerging & remote markets
Initiate Northeast Region expansion, including DDM hiring & development
Collaborate with RSMs to sustain vacant territories and devise turnaround plans for underperforming markets
Build sticky relationships with high-value dealers across all sales territories via direct line of communication and personalized support
Increase sustainable penetration levels across all markets
Identify and develop market-differentiating strategies (CPO, National Accounts, etc)
Bridge credit-level pricing & risk insights to effective sales solutions in the field
Challenge team members on Sale Force utilization for territory management purposes
Expense management oversight
Layered support/direction to RSMs regarding DDM accountability and process execution
Responsible for credit oversight of new dealer relationships in emerging territories
Workflow support in VQ as required to sustain service levels, including weekend manager-level coverage and RCM time away
Maintain ongoing involvement with SoCal credit team performance, in collaboration with RCM
Support/direct RCMs with credit analyst accountability and process execution
Accountable for loan level credit-risk outliers across Division
Facilitate periodic credit cross-training with sales team
Standardize ad-hoc reporting of credit-risk and pricing related tracking sheets for business line reporting purposes
Standardize critical success processes across region
Work closely with funding leaders to identify processes aimed at streamlining efficiency and to further mitigate risk
Clarify ambiguous/inconsistent procedure
Represent feedback from field on policy impacts to sales competitiveness and industry standards
Regular meetings with funding managers/supes to clearly align both credit and sales with funding direction and updates
Support credit-funding queues as needed to resolve funding delays and/or coordinate potential returns with RSM/DDM's
Increase regional/territory-level accountability and timeliness of early payment default account resolution
Direct involvement with all identified buyback demands until account is cured
Ensure teams move expeditiously to provide all documents /legal requirements on identified fraud accounts
Collaborate with Collection Leaders to identify accounts that should be expedited to field for assistance
Implement/improve internal servicing measures placing holds on confirmed buyback accounts
Work closely with Titles team to improve aged title resolution, including direct involvement at dealer-level at designated levels of exposure
Qualification
Required
Hands-on experience in Sales and Credit management
Experience in territory expansion and dealer relationship development
Ability to optimize credit-risk pricing
Experience in performance management across credit and sales
Strong communication skills for interdepartmental collaboration
Experience in process improvement and policy development
Ability to establish performance-based milestones and action plans
Experience in motivating and energizing team members
Ability to build relationships with high-value dealers
Experience in credit oversight and risk management
Ability to standardize reporting and critical success processes
Experience in funding processes and risk mitigation
Ability to manage early payment default account resolution
Experience in collaborating with collection leaders
Ability to improve aged title resolution
