Responsibilities
Lead and perform month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations
Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with GAAP
Partner with operations and supply chain teams to support and monitor inventory costing, standard costs, and variances
Support cost accounting activities including BOM (bill of materials) maintenance, margin analysis, and overhead allocation
Reconcile general ledger accounts and resolve discrepancies
Assist in the preparation of internal and external audits
Maintain and improve internal controls and accounting procedures
Prepare ad-hoc financial reports and analysis to support business decisions
Support budgeting and forecasting processes as needed
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA or CMA preferred
5+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2+ years in a manufacturing environment
Strong understanding of US GAAP and cost accounting principles
Proficiency in ERP systems (JDE Edwards preferred); advanced Excel skills required
Experience working with inventory, fixed assets, and standard costing
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, hands-on environment with a high degree of ownership

Big 4 or public accounting experience preferred
Experience with lean manufacturing or continuous improvement environments
Collaborative, flexible, and proactive approach with the ability to communicate effectively across departments
