Responsibilities

Contribute to the development of strategic plans in support of the franchises by providing market insights, opportunity assessment, competitive analyses and support the creation of ad hoc reports
Develop presentations and strategic narrative with clear story line for executive audience
Drive the strategic goals planning process, identifying top priorities, and coordinating functional goal setting activities
Lead competitive intelligence efforts across devices, platforms, digital health solutions, and adjacent technologies
Monitor and analyze competitor portfolios, pipelines, clinical evidence, regulatory approvals, and go‑to‑market strategies
Conduct market, customer, and ecosystem analysis to identify growth opportunities and emerging threats
Support annual and long‑range strategic planning processes with data‑driven competitive insights
Partner with cross‑functional teams (R&D, Commercial, Regulatory, Clinical, Strategic Marketing, Finance) to align strategy and execution
Perform data analysis using raw financial data files (sales, pricing etc.) and interpret results to drive business decisions
Manage dashboards and internal platforms for data visualization, reporting and workflow management
Strong executive communication skills with experience engaging and influencing senior leadership
Translate complex competitive and market intelligence into concise, actionable executive presentations
Identify, evaluate, and pursue new business opportunities through market research, networking, and prospecting
Lead discovery conversations to understand business needs, challenges, and partnership criteria
Prepare and deliver compelling proposals, presentations, and pitches tailored to customers and senior leadership alignment
Negotiate commercial terms, contracts, and partnerships to drive mutually beneficial outcomes
Support M&A, joint venture, or strategic investment initiatives when applicable
Influence product roadmap and value proposition based on customer insights and market feedback

Required

BA/BS degree required
6+ years of related work experience
Experience in summarizing insights and presenting findings to management in a timely and professional manner required
Advanced PowerPoint & Excel skills required
Strong financial acumen and ability to process PnL and detailed deal & business models
Strong problem solver with proven ability to translate data into insights
Ability to multi-task and execute multiple deliverables while meeting deadlines
Ability to work independently, comfortable taking initiative
Ability to travel up to 20-30%

Preferred

Master's degree or other advanced degree preferred
Experience in Medical Device, Pharma or Biotech required; experience in Structural Heart industry is desirable
