Lead Electrical Engineer

Responsibilities

Develop, analyze, and test electronic circuits and PBAs with a focus on high speed digital design
Lead architecture definition and specification reviews with internal and external customers
Help evaluate and define technology and tool roadmaps
Define and improve standard processes and guidelines
Serve as an expert peer reviewer
Lead small electrical design teams
Mentor and coach junior level engineers

Required

US PERSONS REQUIREMENTS: Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status or have the ability to obtain an export authorization
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering, or mathematics
10 years of computing architecture and high-speed digital design experience

Preferred

Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering
Strong experience with Commercial and Military Aerospace Standards and Requirements, MIL-STD-461, MIL-STD-464, DO-160, Boeing D6, Airbus ABD-0100, DO-254, etc
Knowledge of Digital Design standards and best practices
Extensive experience with circuit design and analysis tools, Siemens EDA DXDesigner, HyperLynx SI & PI, LTSpice, etc
Ability to analyze quality metrics and act on data to improve quality, reliability and robustness
Expert knowledge of electronic product and process technologies
Individuals who are self-motivated and able to work with little supervision
Ability to consistently demonstrate business impact and continuous drive for improvement
Ability to influence customers and cross-functional teams to deliver optimal outcomes
Ability to consistently make timely decisions and balancing systematic analysis with decisiveness in an ambiguous environment
