Senior Business Analyst

Connect Search, LLC is seeking two FP&A Systems Analysts to support a large-scale Manufacturing, Engineering & Contracting Plan Book Transformation initiative. The role focuses on FP&A systems, User Acceptance Testing, training, and providing go-live support within the Operations Finance Processes team.

Responsibilities

Support SAP Business Planning & Consolidation (BPC) processes and plan book transformation
Execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities:
Draft and manage testing scripts
Set up test data and processes
Guide users through UAT execution
Track defects, support resolution, and coordinate re-testing/regression testing
Document results and ensure compliance with control requirements
Support new BPC processes and data validation exercises
Troubleshoot errors and Workday-related issues
Provide triage support during project execution and post-go-live
Develop and maintain comprehensive training documentation
Lead and/or support end-user training sessions
Provide hands-on go-live and hypercare support (including rotating onsite coverage)
Perform initial Workiva setup (folders, access, master data linkages)
Link plan books to Workiva and applicable databases
Support Workiva UAT, including:
Script drafting and execution
Defect tracking and resolution
Re-testing and documentation
Develop training materials and support Workiva go-live and hypercare

Qualification

Required

Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting
3+ years of experience in Finance or Accounting
Proven, hands-on delivery of FP&A systems or transformation projects
Strong UAT experience (script writing, execution, defect management)
Experience developing training documentation and delivering user training
Experience supporting go-live and hypercare activities
Advanced Excel skills
Solid understanding of financial planning and accounting principles
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills
Ability to manage ambiguity and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Willingness to travel domestically (1–2 weeks as needed)

Preferred

Large-scale Finance Transformation or financial systems implementations
Experience in complex environments (30+ locations, large multi-sheet workbooks)
SAP Business Planning & Consolidation (BPC)
Workiva
Workday
Financial reporting and data automation systems
Financial systems transformation testing experience
