Responsibilities

Collaborate on advanced facilities projects that enable the heart of our clients’ business
Work on projects at some of the world’s most state of the art industrial and commercial facilities
Deliver on equipment design, specification, selection, technical evaluation of vendor equipment offerings/submittals, and mechanical review of vendor equipment drawings for conformance with design criteria
Review and evaluate the desired goal of the system and develop machine design concepts and drawings
Select the required equipment, perform calculations and evaluations of the equipment and systems for industrial and commercial applications
Support activities ensuring construction, installation, and operational testing conform to functional specifications, recognized codes and standards, and customer requirements
Maintain effective communication with project team members and clients as you participate in planning, cost development and management, and scheduling for assigned projects

Qualification

3D parametric design softwareMechanical engineering experienceFinite Element Analysis (FEA)Engineer-in-Training (EIT) CertificationAnalytical skillsProblem-solving skillsCommunication skills

Required

Associate Degree in Mechanical Design or equivalent years of experience in lieu of degree
At least 3 years history in the practical application of mechanical engineering, especially related to process equipment design and functionality
Experience and certified on 3D parametric design software (AutoCAD, Solidworks, Inventor)

Preferred

5 years' experience in practical application of mechanical engineering, especially related to process equipment design and functionality
Engineer-in-Training (EIT) Certification or 4yr degree in Mechanical Engineering
Performing FEA (Finite Element Analysis) on Solidworks models
Authorization to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship, now or in the future
