New Grad, Entry LevelWyyerd Fiber is seeking an OSP Fiber Splicer who will be responsible for supporting the construction of FTTH GPON plant. The role involves installing conduit, pulling and splicing fiber, as well as supporting plant maintenance and repair.

Proofing conduit paths
Pulling fiber through conduit
Splicing fiber, once trained, to enable service to customers
OSP plant maintenance and repair support
Locating of existing network infrastructure via geospatial tools, GPS capture tools
Working effectively with other people and teams in the organization
Programing and troubleshooting networking equipment as needed
Assisting with other OSP and network-related activities as needed, e.g., placement of drop cables
Other duties as required
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent
Positive attitude, willingness and eagerness to learn new things, team player
Able to lift up to 40lbs
Ability to understand/learn the fiber network construction process
