Life & Health Insurance Sales Specialist
AAA Minneapolis Insurance Agency is a distinguished name in the insurance industry, where innovation meets personalized service. The role is responsible for facilitating agency growth by promoting Health and Life insurance products and services, focusing on Medicare sales during open enrollment and life insurance sales during the off-season.
Responsibilities
Sell Medicare Advantage, Medicare Supplement, and Prescription Drug Plans during AEP and SEPs
Sell life insurance products (term, whole, final expense) during non-Medicare enrollment periods
Utilize agency-provided leads and generate new business through networking and referrals
Conduct needs-based assessments to recommend tailored insurance solutions
Use quoting tools and agency management systems to deliver accurate, compliant proposals
Build long-term client relationships and provide ongoing policy support
Stay current on CMS regulations, carrier updates, and industry trends
Host company-sponsored seminars to educate members and non-members on company products and services
Assist clients through the application process, issue quotes, and maintain client records in the agency CRM system
Focus on continuing education and professional development
Qualification
Required
High School diploma or equivalent
Must hold an active Life/Health Insurance License for the State of MN
Proven sales experience
High level interpersonal and communication skills both verbal and written
Passion for helping people and building lasting relationships with clients
Goal-oriented with a drive for sales success
Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail
Preferred
Minimum of two years insurance agency experience
Experience with Medicare and/or life insurance sales
Experience using CRM and quoting platforms
Bilingual (Spanish or other languages) a plus
