Responsibilities
Maintain, install, and configure desktops and workstations
Image and deploy Windows-based workstations
Create and maintain equipment inventory database of all workstations
Ensure ongoing compliance with ITAR and government security standards
End-user support for production and front-office employees across multiple buildings in a campus environment
Utilize administrative tools such as Active Directory, Windows Deployment Services, VMWare and various other tools
Perform application support of Microsoft Office applications and other internal applications and systems
Work closely with other members of the IT department to handle requests, incidents, and project related tasks
Responsible for on-going maintenance of company's desktop environment
Collaborate with existing vendors to support and perform upgrades on company software
Troubleshoot and resolve both hardware and software issues regarding network connectivity
Maintain IT tickets and update projects
Qualification
Required
Associates or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
1-3 years relevant experience in an IT support environment
Experience installing desktop operating systems and applications
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products
Understanding of general security best practices
Fundamental understanding of TCP/IP protocol and network troubleshooting skills
