Level 1 Help Desk Support Specialist
B&B Title Operations is a company that provides uniquely designed title offices and is seeking a Level 1 Help Desk Support Specialist. This role serves as the first point of contact for employees needing technical assistance, responsible for troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues while providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities
Provide initial technical support and incident resolution for hardware (e.g., desktops, laptops, printers), software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, operating systems), and basic network/connectivity issues
Log, prioritize, track, and close support tickets. Ensure all issues are accurately documented with steps taken for resolution
Assist with user account maintenance, including password resets, account unlocks, and basic permission modifications within Active Directory or similar user management systems
Assist with the setup, configuration, and deployment of new user workstations (PCs, monitors, peripherals)
Utilize remote desktop tools to troubleshoot and resolve issues on end-user machines
Maintain and contribute to the IT knowledge base and documentation library to improve efficiency and self-service options
Timely escalate unresolved issues to Level 2 or Level 3 support teams, following defined escalation procedures
Maintain a high level of professionalism, courtesy, and patience when interacting with end-users. Communicate technical information in a clear and understandable manner
Adhere to all IT security policies and procedures
Qualification
Required
Must be able to commute to and service our offices across the DFW area
Education: High school diploma or GED required. Associate's degree in an IT-related field or technical certification (e.g., CompTIA A+, ITIL Foundation) is a plus
Experience: 6 months to 1 year of experience in a customer service or technical support role, or recent completion of a relevant technical program
Technical Proficiency: Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Windows (10/11) and/or macOS operating systems
Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365 Admin Portal
Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, Wi-Fi, VPN)
Soft Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
