Electronics Technician

Responsibilities

Efficient Time and Resource Management: Strategically manage time and resources to meet demanding schedules while adhering to Weston and stakeholder standards for quality and value
Documentation Management: Maintain and track maintenance documents and deliverables, ensuring timely submission for review and approval
Customer Site Coordination: Organize, schedule, and execute high-quality work at customer sites, maintaining excellence in service delivery
Oversight of Technical Drawings: Supervise the creation, interpretation, updating, approval, and upkeep of AFSI/AFHE drawings to ensure accuracy and compliance
Stakeholder Engagement: Build and sustain positive relationships with stakeholders, collaborating effectively with site personnel to achieve project objectives
Additional Responsibilities: Perform other duties as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability to support organizational needs

Required

U.S. Citizenship
Ability to work safely and efficiently with hand tools
Capable of working independently, outdoors, climbing three flights of stairs, and lifting up to 50 lbs
Basic knowledge of electronics, including 3-phase AC circuits, single-phase AC circuits, DC voltage, and control circuits
Proficiency in using test equipment for troubleshooting (e.g., multimeters, process calibration meters)
Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and design drawings
Basic understanding of networking and IP addressing within a closed network
Must successfully pass a NACLC security background check and drug screening
Computer literacy and proficiency with Microsoft Windows
Perform routine preventive (PM) and corrective maintenance (CM) on industrial electrical equipment, coordinating activities with the fuels operations team
Diagnose and repair electrical components, including motors, sensors, and control panels
Conduct functional testing of pump safety systems and associated emergency shutdown mechanisms
Test analog pressure transmitters and motor-operated valve actuators for proper functionality
Troubleshoot and repair complex automation systems, with emphasis on Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs); experience with Emerson GE PLCs is highly desirable
Interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals accurately
Maintain detailed documentation of all maintenance activities, repairs, and system configurations
Adhere strictly to safety protocols and government regulations to ensure a safe work environment
Willingness to travel to various job sites across the United States
Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor
