The State of Colorado's Department of Natural Resources is seeking a Temporary Human Resources Technician to provide technical and administrative support for human resource management actions. The role involves processing personnel actions, maintaining employee files, and ensuring compliance with state regulations and departmental policies.

Responsibilities

Processing personnel actions for assigned agencies
Processing actions include, but is not limited to, evaluating transactional information; updating tracking logs (MS Excel, Google docs)
Assisting in troubleshooting and resolving system errors
Verifying supporting documentation/information; calculating leave payouts; and distribution of paperwork
Actions are processed within established timeframes and often require inquiries with supervisors, employees and/or other Human Resource Professionals
This position creates and maintains temporary and permanent employee personnel files and continually ensures that I-9's are properly and timely filed and archived, along with other HR related files, within established guidelines
