NEOGOV is seeking a Building and Grounds Assistant to help create a beautiful, safe, and welcoming home for Wyoming’s veterans. The role involves maintaining the exterior of the facility, assisting with seasonal decorations, and performing general maintenance tasks to enhance the quality of life for residents.

Responsibilities

Maintenance of the exterior of the facility and outbuildings
Assist with assembly/removal of seasonal indoor/outdoor decorations
Lawn care and general overall maintenance of the 50-acre campus
Maintenance of vehicles, including washing, detailing, oil change, tire change, and fueling
Recordkeeping for the maintenance of vehicles and equipment service
Maintain and repair equipment, both large and small, including tractors, mowers, sprinklers and hand tools
Snow removal in driveways, parking lots and sidewalks, including weekends and after business hours, if necessary
Assists in the performance of maintenance and repairs in the main facility (ie, plumbing, carpentry, sheet rocking, texturing, and painting)

Required

Must possess a valid driver's license
High School Diploma
0-2 years of progressive work experience (typically in Building and Grounds) with acquired knowledge at the level of a Custodian
1-3 years of progressive work experience (typically in Building and Grounds) with acquired knowledge at the level of a Custodian

Preferred

Preference may be given to those with general building and grounds maintenance experience
