Financial Analyst

The successful candidate will assist in management reporting and forecasting processes, supporting business operations and leadership teams while continuously building knowledge of financial reporting best practices.

Responsibilities

Managing monthly, quarterly, and annual management reporting and planning
Building reports that enable the business to understand revenue and cost drivers, especially within OneStream, Workday Adaptive, and Power BI
Automating reporting to improve information flow across the business
Assisting with the integration of new acquisitions
Supporting the Business Unit’s and Business Area’s leadership teams
Acting as the primary point of contact between business operations and HID Finance
Coordinating cross-functionally to ensure business needs and expectations are planned
Continuously building knowledge of financial reporting best practices
Carrying out other ad hoc analysis and projects as needed

Required

A bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, or related field with a minimum of 1-2 years of related work experience
Ability to work on-site at our Eden Prairie location 3 days per week
Advanced experience with Microsoft Office applications (Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint)
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Team player who thrives in working both cross functionally and globally
Naturally curious and inquisitive
Energetic and analytical with a positive attitude to problem solving

Preferred

A related advanced degree (e.g., MFin, MBA, MAcc) or certification (e.g., CPA, CFA, CMA, or FMVA) with 2-3+ years of progressive work experience in corporate FP&A or accounting
Experience supporting budgeting, forecasting, and M&A processes
Experience with ERP, CPM, EPM, and BI reporting tools – especially OneStream, Workday Adaptive, and Power BI
