Supply Management Spec
The Greater Los Angeles Health Care System is seeking one (1) Supervisory Supply Management Specialist - Assistant Chief Supply Chain Officer (ACSCO) to serve as the alternate to the Facility Chief Supply Chain Officer (FCSCO) and manage a major part of the Logistics Service in the supply chain management (SCM) program. The role involves planning and management of supply chain activities, overseeing negotiations, and managing budgets for healthcare resources and services.

Responsibilities
Planning and management of all levels of supply chain activities involved in sourcing, procurement, and logistics management; coordinating and collaborating with a variety of stakeholders including clinicians, professional/administrative peers, suppliers, intermediaries, third party service providers, and customers
Overseeing, negotiating, and integrating functions with primary responsibility for linking major business functions and business processes
Identifying specific requirements for money, manpower, material, facilities, and services needed
Planning forecasts and executing budget for healthcare resources and services, supplies, subsistence, durable medical equipment, medical gases, expendable/non-expendable (EX/NX) and capital equipment, inventory management, warehouse operations, transportation, and distribution
Managing multi-million-dollar budgets for staff training, expendable supplies, equipment (both capital and non-capital), assigned staff salaries, special projects, durable medical supplies and equipment
Performing other related duties as assigned

Only education or degrees recognized by the U.S. Department of Education from accredited colleges, universities, schools, or institutions may be used to qualify for Federal employment
