Training and Development Specialist
Radiant Credit Union is seeking a Training & Development Specialist to enhance employee effectiveness through training programs. The role involves developing training materials, conducting onboarding and skills training, and assisting with compliance training and e-learning initiatives.

Responsibilities
Creates, organizes, plans, and presents various forms of onboarding, orientation, and skills training for employees
Conducts new hire and progressive training
Creates and edits training procedure manuals, guides, and course materials
Maintains records of training and development activities, attendance, results of tests and assessments, and retraining requirements
Develops training activities, mock scenarios and training games
Assists with Compliance training and the e-learning site
Assists Training Manager with various projects and initiatives
Performs other job related duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
One year to three years of similar or related experience
A high school education or GED
Courtesy, tact, confidentiality and diplomacy are essential elements of the job
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong presentation skills
Ability to research and create effective training material
Ability to assist with the design and implementation of training material
Proficiency with the creation of office related program software
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds at times
Must be able to stand for the duration of an eight-hour workday
Preferred
Previous experience in training, teaching or supervising others is desired
Previous knowledge of the industry, certifications and/or experience encouraged
