Responsibilities
As a Senior Operations analyst you will help determine better ways to coordinate and manage large organizations that require the effective use of money, materials, equipment, and people. This is accomplished by:
Analyze processes and recommend and implement procedural or policy changes to improve operations and decrease time and cost spent on efforts
Identify project needs such as resources, staff, or finances by reviewing project objectives and schedules
Interpret and analyze policies, rules, regulations, or laws to organizations, government officials, and employees
Confer with program personnel to discuss issues, coordinate activities, resolve problems, set strategy, and accomplish objectives
Report project status, such as budget, resources, technical issues, and compliance to programs
Propose, review, or approve modifications to project plans and processes
Plan, schedule, or coordinate project activities to meet program schedules
Apply analytical methods from mathematics, science, and engineering
Qualification
Required
Applicant must hold or be able to obtain an active Department of Defense (DoD) SECRET personnel security clearance
With a bachelor's degree in science, engineering, or related field: minimum of 10 years professional experience related to supporting a US Navy program, OR Without a bachelor's degree in science, engineering, or related field: minimum 15 years professional experience related to labor category AND experience supporting a US Navy program
Experience with Navy programs with small combatants
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in science, engineering, or related field OR preferred Years of Experience
