Responsibilities
Provide technical leadership across multiple initiatives involving distributed services and full-stack applications
Guide and mentor engineers while contributing hands-on to complex system design and implementation
Work closely with product and business partners to translate requirements into resilient, compliant, and scalable solutions
Drive adoption of modern engineering practices, tools, and architectural patterns
Stay current with emerging technologies and share knowledge through internal collaboration and external communities
Build and maintain cloud-based services that support millions of users
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
Four (4) or more years of professional software development experience (excluding internships)
At least one year of experience building or deploying applications in a cloud environment
Preferred
Advanced degree in a technical field
Seven (7) or more years of experience with one or more modern programming languages
Three (3) or more years working with major cloud platforms
Extensive experience using open-source frameworks
Prior experience leading or managing engineers
Familiarity with Agile or iterative development methodologies
