Responsibilities
To review abdomen exams to ensure adherence to proper imaging protocols and diagnostic quality of images
To review exams in collaboration with the radiologist and dictate reports
To schedule biopsies and other procedures for the radiologist
To train students, residents and technologists as necessary
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or GED equivalent
Five (5) years experience in all ultrasound modalities
Currently credentialed as a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS)
Currently credentialed as a Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS)
CPR certified or must be obtained within 30 days of hire
