Responsibilities
Act as a strategic advisor to the CEO and COO, translating executive priorities into actionable initiatives and leading the executive cadence (meetings, strategic reviews, and performance reporting)
Lead the company's growth strategy by identifying, pursuing, and securing new government and commercial contracts, specifically in janitorial and facilities maintenance services
Manage and mentor a team that includes a Contract Administrator, Technical Writer, and AR/AP Administrator, with full responsibility for performance management
Oversee daily office operations for both the corporate headquarters and field staff, ensuring efficient infrastructure, record management, and administrative systems
Manage the full contract lifecycle from capture to closeout, ensuring all activities comply with federal, state, and local regulations (such as FAR and GSA schedules) while maintaining accurate data in systems like NetSuite and Box
Qualification
Required
At least 4–6 years of progressive leadership experience specifically within government contracting, facilities services, or related industries
A high school diploma is required
Advanced understanding of government contracting regulations and processes, including the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and GSA schedules
Strong financial skills related to billing, collections, and margin protection, combined with proficiency in modern software suites and administrative systems like NetSuite and Box
Preferred
A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field
