Responsibilities
Build and maintain resilient ETL pipelines to centralize data from our core HCM and ATS systems into Google Cloud Platform, Big Query, and other people analytics products
Architect a robust semantic data layer (using dbt) that translates raw database schemas into business-friendly logic
Leverage AI and LLMs to unlock insights from unstructured data (e.g., engagement survey comments, interview feedback) and build predictive models for attrition and headcount planning
Go beyond dashboards to design data products that solve operational problems
Partner proactively with Talent, Finance, and People leaders to translate vague business anxieties into rigorous data questions
Design and deploy high-impact Sigma workbooks that guide executives through complex narratives
Qualification
Required
You are an Engineer who thinks like a Consultant
You love writing clean Python/SQL code, but you are equally passionate about solving human-centric business problems
Deep experience managing data in Google Cloud Platform
Expert proficiency in Sigma or similar BI platforms
Hands-on experience with Ashby, Rippling, or similar
Experience building semantic layers that create context based in business logic from raw data, ensuring consistency across all reporting
Experience or strong interest in applying AI/ML techniques (NLP, regression analysis, etc.) to people data
You can explain complex data architectures to non-technical stakeholders and act as a trusted advisor on data strategy
Preferred
Experience deploying or working with People Analytics SaaS platforms
Experience with Sigma
