Responsibilities
Build and maintain financial models for forecasting, scenario analysis, and performance tracking
Provide regular monthly, quarterly, and annual analytics on portfolio trends, returns, and asset allocation
Monitor New Money Yield vs. Portfolio Book Yield to ensure alignment with pricing and profitability goals
Analyze market conditions to identify risks and opportunities that impact investment results
Support investment income forecasting and capital planning on a quarterly or more frequent basis
Work closely with investment teams, actuarial, accounting, and treasury to align investment strategy with business objectives
Prepare management reporting and presentations on portfolio performance and strategic initiatives
Partner with external managers and auditors to deliver accurate, insightful investment data
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (MBA/CFA preferred)
5+ years of FP&A, investment analysis, or investment management experience within insurance or asset management
Strong understanding of investment products, markets, and accounting principles
Proficiency in financial modeling, Excel, and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI)
Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain complex data clearly
Strong analytical mindset and comfort working in a fast-paced environment
Preferred
MBA/CFA preferred
Experience with platforms like Bloomberg, Aladdin, or Clearwater is a plus
