Required

Master's degree in Social Science (quantitative emphasis), Statistics, Education (quantitative emphasis), Engineering, Business, Information Science or Computer Science
At least three years of experience of social or institutional research experience OR Bachelor's degree in Social Science (quantitative emphasis), Statistics, Education (quantitative emphasis), Engineering, Business, Information Science or Computer Science and at least five years of experience of social or institutional research experience
Experience should include data collection, data entry, and validation of data accuracy
Experience conducting statistical analysis using any modern statistical package and summarizing statistical results
Must be proficient in at least one statistical software package such as SAS, SPSS, or R
Must demonstrate the ability to work with minimal guidance within a complex, diverse organization
Ability to work on multiple projects that may have short and concurrent deadlines
Effective oral and written communication skills
Ability to work effectively, both independently and collaboratively in teams
This position is designated as a critical or security-sensitive position; therefore, the incumbent must successfully complete a criminal history check and be determined to be position qualified as per University Standard: 05-010 et seq. Incumbents are required to self-report convictions and those in youth programs may have additional criminal history checks every 24 months

Preferred

Master's degree in Social Science (quantitative emphasis), Statistics, Education (quantitative emphasis), Engineering, Business, Information Science or Computer Science is strongly preferred
Experience in public higher education
Experience with interactive graphical (business intelligence) tools such as Crystal Reports, Tableau, PowerBI
Knowledge of relational database systems such as Oracle or MS SQL server
Knowledge of Structured Query Language (SQL)
Experience with an enterprise resource planning (ERP) system for student information, human resources, budgeting, etc., such as Banner or Workday
Experience with data mining tools and techniques
