Responsibilities
Lead Front-End Planning (FEP) activities, including feasibility studies, concept development, scope definition, and cost estimates
Execute Design Phase Engineering , including equipment layouts, utility requirements, process flow diagrams, and technical specifications
Design, select, and support installation of Packaging and Processing Systems for manufacturing operations
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Manufacturing, Quality, Validation, Automation, Vendors) to ensure compliant system design and execution
Support installation, commissioning, and startup of packaging and processing equipment
Develop and implement new packaging and manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, scalability, and product quality
Ensure compliance with GMP, safety, and regulatory standards during design and implementation
Support vendor selection, FAT/SAT, and documentation review
Identify opportunities for process optimization, cost reduction, and continuous improvement
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, chemical, or Industrial Engineering or related field
5–10 years of experience in packaging engineering, manufacturing engineering, or process engineering
Hands-on experience with packaging and processing system design and installation
Strong understanding of front-end planning and design engineering
Experience developing or improving packaging or manufacturing processes
Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
Preferred
Familiarity with GMP-regulated environments (pharma, biotech, food, or medical devices preferred)
