Responsibilities
Review, test, and implement security solutions related to:
Email Protection (Proofpoint, Barracuda, SpamTitan, Mimecast, etc.)
DLP – MS Purview, Conditional Access, CASB solutions •(Must have)•
Public Cloud Security – AWS, Azure, or GCP •(Must have)•
ZTNA solutions – Zscaler, Axis, Prisma Access •(Must have)•
DDOS/WAF – Cloudflare, Silverline, Cloud Armor •(Must have)•
Firewalls/IDS/NDR tools •(Must have)•
Assess network security architecture and provide recommendations based on industry best practices
Define and review security policies to control access to systems •(Must have)•
Implement and configure network security technologies
Apply Zero Trust principles to control network access
Recommend and maintain security configuration baselines
Ensure documentation of security operations and maintenance activities
Automate manual tasks (Infrastructure as Code preferred)
Support audits, compliance, and enterprise risk initiatives
Assist in developing requirements and driving deliverables
Qualification
Required

Minimum 5+ years in Network Security Engineering
Hands-on experience with: Firewalls, VPN, IDS/IPS
Hands-on experience with: DDOS/WAF
Hands-on experience with: ZTNA
Hands-on experience with: Public Cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP)
Strong understanding of: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing protocols
Strong understanding of: Network and application-layer firewall concepts
Strong understanding of: SSL/TLS and PKI
Knowledge of security frameworks: NIST, ISO, CIS, OWASP Top 10
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Self-motivated and results-oriented
Preferred
Experience with automation/tools such as: PowerShell, Ansible, Terraform, Regex, Chef, Puppet
Bachelor's or Master's in Information Systems, Information Security, or related field
Security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, CCNP Security, Security+ are a plus
