Responsibilities
Assist with data validation and reconciliation during billing system migration
Support testing activities including parallel billing runs and validation checks
Document migration issues, track resolutions, and maintain comprehensive audit trails
Coordinate with technical teams to ensure accurate data transfer and system setup
Provide hands-on support during hypercare period following system go-live
Monitor billing runs and identify exceptions or anomalies requiring investigation
Assist with troubleshooting billing discrepancies and customer inquiries
Validate that bills are generating correctly with accurate charges and rate components
Handle manual billing tasks and workarounds until automation is implemented
Support enrollment processing and customer setup activities
Assist with billing audits, charge validations, and contract verification
Maintain documentation of manual processes and issue resolutions
Support the team with general operational activities during high-volume periods
Qualification
Required
3+ years of experience in billing operations, preferably in utilities or energy sector
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in Excel and data analysis
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Strong communication and documentation skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
Preferred
Experience with billing system implementations or migrations
