Responsibilities
Lead and participate in internal strategy consulting projects and workstreams for internal clients in LAC
Structure and solve business problems, collaborating and coordinating with a range of internal stakeholders to make recommendations on a wide range of business issues. Build out unique, creative and impactful solutions by integrating insights across Visas many expert functional resources and supporting collaborative solution development
Support the development of overall country strategies with a focus on innovation, new product design and M and A
Develop rigorous, fact based, quantitative analysis to support recommendations. Ensure strategic and financial soundness and alignment for any recommendations
Work closely with cross functional and regional management teams on strategic projects, bringing timely and useful insight and analytical support
Develop executive level communications. Communicate recommendations to senior management, other executive, functional, or regional staff and management in a clear, concise and impactful way
Qualification
Required
8 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhD
Ability to develop content independently and prioritize workflow with limited supervision, to manage projects
Ability to prioritize deliverables and projects to meet timelines efficiently and ability to adapt to changes in priorities quickly
Ability to participate in complex cross enterprise projects and processes with multiple stakeholders at both senior and junior levels
Superior analytical and problem solving skills, with demonstrated intellectual and analytical rigor, attention to detail and ability to structure and analyze sophisticated financial modeling
Experience working with economic theories, scenario analysis, and competitive assessments. Knowledge of payment industry revenue drivers a plus
Commitment to continuous training and improvement of employees throughout the corporate strategy function
Self starter, team oriented, collaborative, diplomatic, and flexible, with excellent presentation skills, including strong oral and writing capabilities
Bilingual English Spanish required, Portuguese a plus
Preferred
9 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or 7 or more relevant years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 3 or more years of experience with a PhD
2 to 4 plus years total experience in management consulting or corporate strategy
Experience in and or significant exposure to the payments industry
