Responsibilities
Apply education and training to assist senior designers in solving structural and rigging arrangement problems with economic designs
Develop experience using 2D and 3D CAD technology (AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks) to prepare basic rigging arrangement drawings, 3D models, and assembly/details for component parts and shop or field fabrication
Assist senior designers in creating site layout drawings for project planning and development purposes
Learn and apply crane knowledge and information to assist Operations in lift planning and coordination and creating crane layout drawings
Learn to determine appropriate views, sections, and orientation on drawings to be made for the purpose of showing necessary information in the most effective manner
Learn to develop material requirements to develop effective for rigging plans
Learn how to apply company and industry standards and procedures
Attend status meetings and training as required
Perform all other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Civil Engineering
Ability and willingness to learn and apply sound engineering design principles to assigned tasks
Strong collaboration skills with the ability to effectively interact with project teams
Excellent critical thinking, time management, and organizational capabilities
High level of attention to detail with strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel and PowerPoint
Preferred
1–2 years of relevant experience preferred, but not required
AutoCAD and SolidWorks experience preferred
