Outside Sales Representative
Layer 9 IT is a mission-driven Managed Service Provider recognized for proactive IT strategy and cybersecurity excellence. They are seeking an Outside Sales Representative who will own a territory, drive new business through in-person meetings, and collaborate with technical teams to ensure seamless client onboarding.

Responsibilities
Own and grow the a territory with a focus on net-new clients
Drive new business through in-person meetings, prospecting, and executive outreach
Lead discovery conversations and guide opportunities through a formal sales process
Build a pipeline through cold calling, networking, and community engagement
Represent Layer 9 at industry events, chambers, and professional groups
Partner with inside sales and marketing to accelerate pipeline activity
Collaborate with technical teams to ensure seamless client onboarding
Consistently meet or exceed revenue and activity expectations
Qualification
Required
Proven experience in outside sales or a similar role
Strong ability to build relationships and create leads
Experience with prospecting and executive outreach
Ability to lead discovery conversations and guide opportunities through a formal sales process
Experience in building a pipeline through cold calling, networking, and community engagement
Ability to represent the company at industry events and professional groups
Experience collaborating with inside sales and marketing teams
Ability to work with technical teams for client onboarding
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue and activity expectations
